THE STORY BEHIND CENTRE POINTE BAR & GRILL
Four partners, hailing from all over North America have come together to form Centre Pointe Bar & Grill.
Three Americans and a Canadian had a vision. Gerry, the Canadian up north from Ontario, Tom from the North Carolina Mountains who now resides in Mount Pleasant, Jon the salesman from James Island and Scott the CPA and financial advisor from Mount Pleasant. Four mild mannered guys, while having some cold brew talked about on many occasions, one day opening up a one of a kind special bar & grill. We wanted it to be locally operated for people to socialize, gather around for sporting events, eat some juicy homemade burgers or even just to get away to take the edge off after a hard days work.
Tom, Gerry and his older brother came up with the idea and planned the layout. It took some time but Tom eventually found the perfect location, Scott was asked to join in and run the numbers. Jon heard about the vision and asked if he could join in for an investment. This is how Centre Pointe Bar and Grill came into existence.
It’s a local place, owned by local boys, staffed by local people. They know that a beer should be served ice cold in frosted glass not a plastic cup. A burger should be cooked just the way you like it. Service should be prompt and courteous. And like Ronald Reagan, they know to hire great people to run the establishment.
